Armed Forces Day Luncheon

The Armed Forces Day Luncheon is back this year to honor the military and veterans. Hosted by the NEPA Armed Forces Day Parade Association, the event will take place on May 16, 2024, at the Hilton Scranton. The event will start at 12:00 PM. The guest speaker will be Brigadier General Michael J. Regan. Join us in celebrating and showing appreciation for our nation's heroes. Armed Forces Day is observed yearly on the third Saturday of May. Americans honor those in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, and Reserves. It's a day to pay tribute to all who serve in the armed forces, showcasing respect and appreciation for their dedication and sacrifices. The mission of NEPAAFDPA is to gather and provide support for our armed forces, as well as those who have honorably served our nation, through fundraising and parade attendance. The intent is to do so while offering service members, veterans and those who support the armed forces the opportunity to stay connected with the local military and veteran community.
