GPCC 3-Part Series with NEPA Alliance - PART 1: Business Finance Center
The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting member business development by offering educational opportunities on topics of interest to the business community. An integral part of our commitment to member development is our relationship with Northeast Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA Alliance).
The 3-part Education Series is intended to provide Chamber members with information on programs and services available to area business and organizations in NEPA.
Friday, January 21st - Business Finance Center: The Business Finance Center, through its pool of federal, state and local funds, provides low-interest loans to qualified small businesses. The objective is to provide financing to help small businesses create/retain jobs, attract additional investment from banks and other sources of private and public funding. Loans through this program offer repayment terms standard in today’s credit markets. Loans are used to supplement other financing by providing up to 50% of the loan amount with maximum of $5.5 million.
Friday. February 4th – Procurement Technical Assistance Center: The PTAC serves as a liaison to help local companies, usually small businesses increase sales and growth for our regional economy. NEPA’s PTAC staff provides marketing and technical assistance to qualified, competitive companies who wish to bid on government contracts and also works with government agencies to help locate suppliers in the region. The tools available from NEPA’s PTAC can help companies market their products and qualify their business to be a leading contender in winning a contract with a local, state or federal agency.
